As a testament to its excellence and influence, the firm actively fosters strategic global partnerships, continuously setting benchmarks in quality and industry standards.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>Develop a long-term external communications strategy, encompassing Media Relations and Public Relations, and create an annual implementation plan aligned with the global communications vision and strategy. This strategy should be in harmony with the corporate business objectives and growth aspirations.</p> <p>Lead the execution of the corporate media campaign and proactively build relationships with tier-1 external media organizations. The goal is to drive positive perceptions of the This Company brand and reputation, ensuring optimal utilization of media channels. This effort will enhance and build This Company's reputation, articulate corporate strategic targets and messaging, and highlight growth and achievements.</p> <p>Drive the integration of media across all regions, coordinating both within the media and among This Company's regional communications teams. Oversee media communications for major projects, M&A growth projects, divestments, and significant external business and brand-building events. This includes outreach by the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President, as well as alignment with other stakeholders.</p> <p>Coordinate proactive and ad-hoc media outreach across all regions to improve the quality and planning of media output by This Company's regional teams. Support crisis communications at a global level and across regions, ensuring alignment and leveraging communications agencies to deliver best practices.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement This Company's media relations strategy in alignment with the global communications strategy and tactical outreach plans, collaborating with Global Communications CoEs, regional teams, stakeholders, and agencies.</li> <li>Provide specialist strategic communications counsel and external positioning for the company and senior executive leadership, including the CEO, through presentations and written briefings to leverage opportunities for business growth and reputation enhancement.</li> <li>Monitor, track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of This Company's media presence, offering actionable insights and recommendations based on analytics data.</li> <li>Drive alignment between This Company's regions, Strategic Business Units, and corporate teams to ensure cohesive and improved use of traditional media channels across all regions.</li> <li>Serve as the lead focal point for strategic global company projects requiring media, positioning, and messaging leadership, contributing to all major company events.</li> <li>Collaborate with corporate and Strategic Business Units partners and regions in planning proactive media outreach campaigns.</li> <li>Set global standards and guidelines, driving global governance and quality control.</li> <li>Drive the adoption of new channels and the improvement of existing ones, ensuring unified messaging across platforms.</li> <li>Maintain and build This Company's key corporate strategic media relationships (tier 1) while exploring new trends and practices.</li> <li>Provide specialist communications advice and support for This Company's crisis management and reputational risk management.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.</strong></li> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Communications, Journalism, or a related Mass Media field.</li> <li>Minimum of 6 years of experience in a media-related position, either in a leading PR firm or within the communications function of a reputed organization.</li> <li>Fluent native English language skills, both oral and written.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to influence higher management.</li> <li>Ability to manage cultural differences and adapt to changing environments.</li> <li>Leadership in driving projects, motivating teams, and fostering collaboration.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills.</li> </ul>
