Job Description

IFS has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Global Website Content Manager (Maternity cover) to join its dynamic Digital Marketing team on a fixed term contract.This is an opportunity for an individual to drive business growth through digital marketing at a fast-growing enterprise software company.

Reporting into the Global Digital Marketing Director, you will manage the company’s website ifs.com, the roadmap and the technology that sits behind - our CMS (Content Management System). You will be responsible for website content management and act as an advisor for digital content and campaign activation.

You will manage and be supported by a small in-house website team. You will work in a matrixed environment and must collaborate closely with regional, local and industry marketing teams to achieve the website goals.

The right candidate will have skills and proven experience in Sitecore, analytics and content management, and a passion for staying on top of new developments in the world of digital marketing. You will be expected to pro-actively and enthusiastically share ideas on improving our channels and our use of technology.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Execute the IFS.com website roadmap in collaboration with the website development team, closely coordinating to plan and execute the roadmap while providing support for scoping requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure correct use of IFS.com in marketing activities such as demand generation campaigns, acquisitions, and brand awareness
  • Oversee the publication of website content, including text, images, videos, and downloadable assets
  • Manage incoming website tickets, assessing and routing them accordingly. Manage the teams workload whilst maintaining our website content SLAs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing & UX design to develop compelling website experiences that align with business goals and targets the intended audience
  • Coordinate with web developers, designers, and content creators to implement website updates, new features, and enhancements.
  • Oversee the implementation of our A/B testing & personalization program, making recommendations for developments based on learnings from the tests
  • Collaborate with the website development team on QA/UAT testing. Proactively identifying risks and issues, assessing their potential impact and promptly reporting any technical issues
  • Implement SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals to improve the website's visibility and rankings on search engine results pages
  • Monitor website performance metrics, such as traffic, conversion rates, and bounce rates, and produce always on and monthly reports for stakeholders and leadership
  • Ensure the website adheres to global brand guidelines and delivers a consistent brand experience
Qualifications

Essential experience:

  • At least 2 years in Sitecore CMS and 3-5 years in website content management
  • Experience leading a team, preferably in an international organisation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insight
  • Advanced understanding of technical SEO
  • Experience managing an external agency and/or 3rd parties
  • Experience using issue tracking and project management technology such as Jira, Workfront, Monday, Asana, Trello or similar
  • Experience in utilizing tools such as Hotjar, GA4 to analyze and improve digital content, journeys and campaigns through regular testing to improve performance and engagement.
  • Familiarity with backend web functionality including hosting, domains, DNS management etc.

Essential skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in content management, including a strong understanding of SEO, analytics tools, and content marketing
  • Exceptional English language skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and confident presenting to executive leadership
  • Comfort challenging assumptions and opinions
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and staying updated on industry trends.
  • A keen interest in how AI can support digital marketing strategies and activities, and awareness of the ethical considerations to ensure responsible and ethical use of AI
