Lakeside Primary School is a large and busy primary school in Up Hatherley.
If you have experience in education, business and finance, knowledge of HR, Health and Safety or a background in IT development or Premises management, we would like to hear from you.
Lakeside Primary School is seeking volunteers to join us on the school’s governing board. As a governor you will make a vital contribution to the success of our large primary school.
Governors help evolve the strategic direction of the school, offering supportive challenge to the school leaders and links to the Local community. Our governors are not necessarily experts in education; we welcome interest from all walks of life to bring different perspectives and views. These roles are a rewarding and effective way of contributing to the lives of local young people.
If you are interested in giving your time, energy and enthusiasm to support our pupils and the Lakeside community, please come and see us. We are looking for new governors who can attend scheduled evening meetings in school (usually on a Tuesday from 5.30pm-7.30pm). Governors also have to occasionally spend time in school during the working day.
