Job Title: Graduate Air IM&T Data Analyst

Location: Warton/Samlesbury, Lancashire

Start Date: 8th September 2025

BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Graduate Programme you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.

Salary: £34,000 & £2,000 Welcome Bonus

What you will be doing

As a Graduate Data Analyst for the Air business you will be working within the Fast Jet Support team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver data engineering and reporting services on our Hawk UK and Qatar support contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Work collaboratively with the engineers within the Fast Jet Support team to help to deliver data analytics services on our Hawk UK and Qatar support contracts.
  2. You will use AGILE DevSecOps methods to develop data analytics which help us to optimise support products and processes.
  3. Develop your digital skills in a team dedicated to making a difference to the performance of the business and our customers’ performance using innovative thinking.
  4. Work with a dedicated data warehouse and the full spectrum of data science toolsets to utilise within an AGILE daily working environment. You will also be using statistical models like Python/Matlab.
  5. You will work within a growing team of data engineers to develop data engineering capabilities including models, reports and dashboards helping us to optimise products and services to our customers.
  6. The team is dedicated to reducing cost and improving performance through the deployment of innovative data solutions which will enable individuals to develop their knowledge and skills.

Skills

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any STEM subject.
