Salary: £24000 - £26000 Location: Hertfordshire Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Seeking a graduate to support the Sales Ledger team within a growing and changing company during a system implementation.We’re working closely with a company who is experiencing an exciting period of growth and transformation. The business is currently going through an implementation of a new financial system, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Finance Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the finance sector. The company is seeking a detail-orientated person who is eager to learn and start their career in finance. Full training will be provided and you’ll be working with a team of experienced accountants. Key Responsibilities: Assist with data entry and reconciliation during the implementation of our new financial system.Support the finance team in day-to-day tasks, including raising of invoices, reconciliation of cash, and liaising with external suppliers.Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.Work within a “buddy” system with another Sales Ledger Clerk to support their team.Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the finance team. Requirements: Recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.Strong numerical and analytical skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
