Are you a graduate with marketing experience? Looking for a role where you can be based from home (with occasional travel)?This society is a membership body related to a specific industry sector. They have a membership of 4,000 individuals across the world.You will play a key role in driving marketing strategies, from initial ideas through to implementation across all mediums. There will be the opportunity to produce on-brand marketing materials. You will be involved with planning and implementation of event related marketing strategies including event branding, promotional flyers, website pages, social media, mailshots, external promotion.The society runs regular virtual and in-person events including Exhibitions and Conferences, Workshops, Training Courses, Fundraiser events and Evening Lectures. You will be helping to promote these.You will be responsible for the social media platforms, (LinkedIn page and group, and Twitter), including campaign planning, design, scheduling, engagement, and reporting.There will also be regular work through emails, sending mailshots to members to promote activities.A bit about you…your degree would ideally be Marketing related, and some kind of related experience is probably going to be essential. This could be from a placement or internship- but could also be from voluntary work, for example with a university club or society, or something of your own that you promoted. This would ideally include email marketing to multiple people, and also work on social media- growing numbers, promoting things, etc.Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. And you should have good experience with Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign and Illustrator) and the Microsoft suite of programmes, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. There may be some budget related work, so decent numerical skills are required.You will need to be able to work from home, and to travel to London at least once a month (expenses paid). There will also be occasional attendance at events around the country, including some overnight stays / evening work.
