Graduate Engineer
Skelmersdale, Nr Wigan.
Starting Salary £28,000 incrementing to £38,000 over 3 years + 6% Contributory Pension + 24 days holiday + Public Holidays
A global Japanese company which manufactures components for the UK’s largest car manufacturers is seeking a Graduate Engineer to be based near Wigan. The site which employs 250 staff has benefited from a £5M investment programme to modernise the manufacturing capability.
You will receive a customised PDP (Professional Development Plan) which includes:
- to Japan to learn tool design.
- training and mentoring by senior management.
As the Graduate Engineer, your duties will include:
• Working in all areas of the manufacturing process, projects, design and tooling.
• Focus area will be tooling, working on tooling construction, testing, inspection and project managing into production
•Develop a strong understanding of the processes used to produce components for some of the most prestigious vehicles in the UK.
To be a successful Graduate Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:
• Educated to Degree level in an Engineering related discipline Mechanical / Manufacturing
• Methodical approach to problem solving.
• Ambitious to develop a career within engineering and carve out a career in a global company
• Aspirations to work towards project management
• Commutable to Skelmersdale.
