Whether it's through creating the UK's first compostable coffee pods, our plastic-free packaging or carbon-free shipping - we're on a mission to be the world's most sustainable coffee company.In 2023, we created our charity, the Better Coffee Foundation, to undo the damage done by the global coffee industry - in our first year, we recovered 43 million pods' worth of ocean-bound plastic.A bit about the role.We have an exciting opportunity for a Midweight Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team, reporting into the Creative and Design Lead.Collaborating closely with the Design Lead you will help to bring the brand vision to life through impactful design across various platforms with the ability to flex between different media and disciplines with ease.The dream candidate will be someone who takes pride in delivering the highest quality work, no matter how big or small the job. This is a fast-moving department supporting all areas of the business. If you enjoy creative problem solving and a variety of work - this could be the role for you.Role responsibilities.Maintain brand consistency across all design projects.Contribute your creative ideas to projects and campaigns.From concept to execution, create eye-catching marketing materials for both digital and print.Deliver creative assets for Retail and Restaurant teams ( Menu design, POS, VM concepts, Marketing, window vinyls)Create assets for Paid Social Media accounts in line with brand guidelines, then tweak and refine them based on performance.Collaborate with CRM team to designs for email marketingAssist in maintaining our Asset Banks, keeping them up-to-date and well-organised and fit-for-use at all times.Provide design support for Sales, Grocery and Business Development Teams ( Presentations, Pitch Decks and mock ups)Plan Shoots and Produce photography and videography for brand including (art direction)Designing packaging and assisting with product development, including trend research.You’ll have.A positive disposition and a pragmatic attitudeStrong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to express creative ideas.Commercial awareness - experience within a brand is plus.Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Suite and other creative tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign are a must; bonus points for After Effects and Figma).Attention to detail and a knack for creative problem-solving.The ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise.A strong creative driveDecent knowledge of MacOS (we're all about that Apple life).Strong typesetting skills and awareness of print-ready processes.2-3 years of experience in the design world.Bonus if you have…Passion for coffee and knowledge of the coffee industry is a plus.Diversity and Inclusion. Grind is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
