Graphic Designer – fixed term contract

LeMieux has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer looking for a new challenge in a fast-growing global equestrian brand.

This role is perfect for a talented Graphic Designer who will join the LeMieux creative team on a fixed term contract, initially for a 3-month term, based in our Romsey head office within the Marketing & Creative Team.


The Graphic Designer will conceptualise and deliver innovative and cutting-edge creative campaigns predominantly across digital channels. Your design work should capture the attention of those who see it and communicate the right message. For this you should have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into concepts through to customer-facing designs.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Compile creative digital concepts and designs, including email, paid social advertising, web design etc.
  • Work as part of the creative team on brand campaigns – defining, shaping and realising innovative ideas through design
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create compelling visual content that supports our brand's marketing objectives
  • Produce visual content that is optimized for social media platforms and other digital channels, including paid social advertising that engages and converts
  • Maintain our brand's visual identity and ensure consistency across all marketing channels
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand, being comfortable with an iterative feedback and amendment process
  • Focus on special design tasks and retouching (e.g. colour correction/matching)
  • Manage and sort image files and related creative assets within our creative asset management system
  • Take feedback from other designers and team members to improve skills and workflow
  • Take part in brainstorming meetings and creative sessions
  • Collaborate with other areas of the business to support their channels and needs when required


The successful Candidate will have the following attributes:


  • A minimum of 3 years’ design experience, particularly with, but not limited to web, email, social and social advertising, brochures and digital and offline advertising, events, and POS
  • A strong portfolio of design work
  • Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and colour theory
  • and a high-level of skill and experience with design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Ability to create animated advertising creative from both stills and video content highly advantageous
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Strong communication and organisation skills and the ability to work independently and to manage a busy workload
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus but not essential
  • An understanding of the equestrian industry would be advantageous but is not essential
