Our team is expanding and we invite applications from Graphic Designers and/or Creative Artworkers who are excited at the prospect of working within the world of experiential and events . Do let us know your current and expected entry level for this role, aligned to your experience.


Please showcase your expertise through portfolios or supporting evidence, demonstrating proficiency and/or enthusiasm to develop in the following core areas. Note the additional request for information on Creativity – point 3.

Experience

1. Ideally, experience in events, marketing, communications, or advertising agencies, or in-house for a brand. Work experience is acceptable.

2. Portfolio showcasing both print and digital work, we have a preference for integrated experience but do clearly communicate your strengths in either or both areas.

3. Evidence of storytelling skills, demonstrating the transformation of briefs or data into creative narratives.

Creativity

1. Passion for creativity and a belief in the positive impact design can have on people and society.

2. A keen eye for aesthetics and a vivid imagination to achieve creative excellence.

3. Please share with us your values and aspirations for this role through written words or a short video. The substance is what we are interested in here so please don’t worry about the quality of a video or your copywriting skills!

Clarity

1. Ability to interpret and implement Brand Guidelines for diverse client brands, often concurrently.

2. Attention to detail, with a focus on high-quality artworking. Exceptional file organisation skills are essential in our busy agency.

3. Effective time management, including the ability to prioritise tasks under tight deadlines.

Confidence

1. Capability to present your ideas internally, receiving and responding to feedback which will always be delivered respectfully.

2. Willingness to offer suggestions for optimal presentation approaches, challenging conventional design methods when necessary.

3. Ability to express concerns or seek clarification within client or internal briefs, displaying a proactive attitude toward understanding requests and terminology.

Technical Skills

· Proficient use of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

· Strong understanding of typography, layout, and colour.

· PPT, Keynote, motion, photography, sketch-up, cad and illustration skills are not prerequisites, but they are desirable up-skills. Please provide details of your full creative skill set.

Design Responsibilities

This is a non-exhaustive list but includes the main types of design work you'll be responsible for day to day.

· Brand/Event collateral such as badges, giveaways, programmes, uniforms

· Wayfinding for print and digital

· Large-format print for activations or exhibitions

· Digital audience communications for invitations, event portals and apps, email banners

· Presentation documents and pitch assets

· Graphic treatments for campaign identities, themes, and concepts

· Moodboard development

· Storyboarding for motion

· Marketing materials


Salary range

£28,000 - £40,000 p/a dependent on experience
