Position Overview

At Insignia, the Graphic Designer plays a crucial role in setting and maintaining the visual standards of the company. This role involves providing creative direction, defining visual requirements, and creating graphic elements that appeal to our exclusive clientele. The ideal candidate will ensure consistent brand representation across various platforms, including websites, product packaging, and marketing materials.


Responsibilities


Design:

  • Create mood boards to conceptualize design visions and themes, then prepare rough drafts of marketing materials and visual concepts based on these mood boards and project briefings, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Prepare rough drafts of materials based on mood board and briefing. Review final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.
  • Design and produce marketing materials, such as brochures, cards, menus, placeholders, digital assets (specifically for social), promotional, and product-related items.
  • Adhere to and build upon the established design standards of Insignia's brand across print, digital, and web mediums.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to develop visual strategies that align with brand guidelines.
  • Oversee the design process from concept to execution, including digital design projects for newsletters, websites, and social media ads.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Marketing Manager to strategize and conceptualize A/B testing.
  • Enhance websites by improving design and interactive features, ensuring navigability, accessibility, and data backup integrity.
  • Manage and execute a range of digital projects in collaboration with IT and development teams.


Creative Direction:

  • Lead creative sessions for project kick-offs, guide the design process, and provide high-level direction for all visual and creative outputs.
  • Significant involvement in evolving the company’s brand identity, ensuring alignment with luxury market trends and consumer expectations.
  • Lead the ongoing evolution of the company’s brand identity, developing strategies that enhance brand visibility and resonance in the luxury market.
  • Generate innovative concepts, develop reference materials, and provide creative input for image and video developments.
  • Uphold visual communication and brand standards throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness across all marketing and product design initiatives.


Administrative:

  • Maintain and organize digital assets using SharePoint and Monday.com, ensuring proper labelling, storage, and easy accessibility.
  • Assist in the organization of digital resources, including templates and design standards, to streamline workflow and improve team efficiency.
  • Coordinate administrative support for project scheduling and digital resource management to enhance team productivity and communication.
  • Regularly update and manage digital asset libraries, ensuring all resources are current and accessible to the team.
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot any issues with software or digital tools used by the design team.
  • Handle the scheduling and logistics for creative meetings and presentations, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared and available.
  • Monitor and report on the status of ongoing projects, keeping stakeholders informed through regular updates via project management tools.


Communication & Problem Solving:

  • Address critical support issues, utilizing expertise to quickly identify problems and devise appropriate solutions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging new ideas and potential up-sell opportunities.
  • Ensure all communications and written work adhere to brand standards and maintain a high level of professionalism.



Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to oversee design projects from inception to completion, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experienced with digital platforms, including Figma/SketchApp and prototyping software.
  • Strong understanding of user interaction across digital devices and channels.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS3, responsive design, WordPress, Angular, video editing, and development preferred.
  • Knowledge of 3D rendering software is advantageous.
