Graphics Programmer – Console/PC Studio – 100% Remote working (UK Only)


A Midlands based games studio is currently looking for a Graphics Programmer to work on developing new high-end graphics for an already existing, successful PC/Console title. They are currently going through a period of expansion and require this Graphics Programmer to help with aspects such as optimisation, rendering pipelines and helping develop the game further.


As the Graphics programmer you’ll be the expert in the team, you’ll get involved with working on the studios game, which brings in players in the high millions. There’s a lot of creativity for the role and in return they want this person to own the Tech for the studio going forward, you’ll be the go-to person for anything Graphics/Rendering related, helping push the boundaries graphically of an already successful title. You’ll work on both high level and low-level programming working closely with the Unity engine.

This role can be 100% remote working (indefinitely), or hybrid working if you prefer. However, you must be based in the UK already to apply for this role.


Requirements


• At least 3 years’ experience in the games industry

• Strong Graphics/Rendering experience

• C++ or C# experience

• Experience with working on Console or PC games

• Strong experience with Unity and HLSL

• Experience of writing Shaders

• A strong portfolio demonstrating live code or games you’ve worked on would be a bonus
