Job Description
I am exclusively partnered with an established UK Developer who are looking for a Grid Connections Engineer to be based in their London office. With an own & operate model across the business, the projects you'd be working on involve utility-scale Solar, BESS and Wind.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identifying grid capacity on the T&D network for Solar, BESS and Wind projects
- Completion of G99 applications, whilst engaging with DNOs and TOs on pre-application meetings and budget estimate offers
- Running necessary power systems studies
Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
- Experience initiating contact and building relationships with external stakeholders and consultants, such as DNOs, TOs, NG/NGESO
- Knowledge of grid connection regulations (such as G99 and the Grid Code) and power systems modelling software (PSS/E or Power Factory will be an advantage)
