This could be just the opportunity you have been looking for…</p><p>Trial Balance has been assigned by a repeat customer, a firm that we really enjoy dealing with, and a very successful and growing manufacturing business based in Falmouth. The role that they are looking to fill has a broad remit to take in management and legislative reporting for the business along with day-to-day governance for the operation of the finance department.</p><p>Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a number 2 role in the accounting team with the following key responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Preparation and analysis of management accounts</li><li>Assisting with year-end financial statement preparation.</li><li>Deputising for the FD where required.</li><li>Control of the audit process.</li><li>Payroll systems control.</li><li>Forecasting and budgeting.</li><li>Costing, pricing and stock valuation.</li><li>Continuous process improvement of the finance department.</li></ul><p>This is a pivotal role in the finance team and as such would suit a fully or nearly qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA with experience working within a group function.
