The 4CGroup is seeking amotivated and experiencedGroup Accountant to join their collaborative and friendly Finance Team.

  • To join a small group accounting function in a key role responsible forcash management, audit, reporting and budgeting activities

Role &Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial accounts at a group level, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Role duties will include:
  • Timely month-end reporting; including Holding company standalone accounts and consolidation of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Intercompany Matrix for all group companies
  • Cash management including monthly forecasting, funding requests and allocation of funding across the subsidiaries
  • Managing Group company audit
  • Working closely with Group Finance Director on process and reporting standardisation and other group sale readiness initiatives
  • Balance sheet reconciliations & financial reports
  • Providing commentary and variance analysis of financial performance for strategic insight
  • Forecasting and budgeting activities: quarterly financial forecasts, analysis and annual budget development
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather financial data
What We're Looking For!
  • Excellent ability in consolidation and financial reporting, preferably from an Audit or corporate setting
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential
  • Sound knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP)
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
  • A team player with the capacity to work independently when required
