Our client, a vibrant and rapidly expanding business.  With a commitment to growth and innovation, they are seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team and contribute to their continued success.Position Overview: As the Group Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our client’s operations. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will oversee all aspects of statutory accounting, taxation, and compliance, while driving process improvements and adding value through strategic financial analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced environment and make a real impact on our client’s business.Key Responsibilities:Lead the completion of annual statutory accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Manage the external audit process, fostering strong relationships with audit partners and stakeholders to facilitate a smooth and efficient process.Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including timely submission of returns and adherence to tax obligations.Oversee Companies House filings and maintain accurate records of company and director changes.Take primary responsibility for short-term cash forecasting, supporting liquidity management and financial planning.Provide oversight and performance management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions.Prepare monthly management accounts for HQ subsidiaries, consolidating financial data and providing insights into business performance.Support forecasting and budgeting processes, contributing to the development of robust financial plans.Review, coordinate, and document internal control processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.Drive taxation value-add projects and activities, optimising tax efficiency and mitigating risks.Source, implement, and manage government and industry grants to support business growth initiatives.Why Join?Exciting Growth Opportunities: Our client is dedicated to driving growth and expansion, providing ample opportunities for career advancement and development.Dynamic Work Environment: Join a fast-paced and entrepreneurial culture where your ideas are valued, and innovation is encouraged.Competitiv...
