Job Description

Eclipse Hotels Group is an international family owned hotel group who are headquartered in West London. Our company's current portfolio includes brands such as Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and EasyHotel, located across the UK, Europe and the Caribbean.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Accounting Manager, based at our Head Office location in Parsons Green, West London. You will have the opportunity to join a developing employer who has the passion and drive to deliver first class service and a quality Team Member experience.

This role is very hands' on and you will be required to oversee the running of the day to day operation of our Finance Team. You will directly be supporting our 7 UK properties, and indirectly supporting our properties in Zurich and The Bahamas, you'll be vital in driving our financial standards forward and implementing changes to assist in providing true hospitality for our guests whilst increasing our profit growth.

What will your key responsibilities and duties be: -

This is but a small taster of what we would expect in this role:

  • Ensure that our financial policies and procedures are up to date and used consistently across our portfolio of hotels.
  • Prepare monthly P&L reports, other management Information reports and analysis, reviewing with sour Hotel General Managers.
  • Manage the day to day function of our multisite bank balances.
  • Manage and monitor each of properties daily cashflow.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Audit of existing finance systems to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Report on all capital expenditure vs budget.
  • Monitor conduct and compliance with statutory requirements in all areas
  • Ensure there are correct inventory controls in place for the purchasing, receiving and management of stock via our Procure Wizard application.
  • Oversee our monthly processing of payroll with the support of our Group Accountant.
  • Day to day management of our Head Office Finance Team.

What we are looking for: -

  • Qualified or near qualified as an accountant (ACCA).
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge of financial procedures within a group role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-site profit & loss accounts
  • Someone who can be gregarious in supporting our General Managers, whilst remaining calm under pressure.
  • Possesses strong influencing skills with the ability to break down information for non-financial managers.
  • Experience in using Sage, Procurewizard and Fourth would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills in all aspects; good organisational and administrative skills with an eye for detail; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point presentations;
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and bank holidays;
