Salary: Circa £130,000 + Bonus + Equity

We are exclusively working with a Private Equity backed technology business, the businesses products and services have earned then a reputation as a leader in their industry, and we are now looking for a highly skilled Financial Director to join their team and help them achieve their ambitious growth plans.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Director will be responsible for managing the financial controllership and operations of the business. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in a PE-backed environment and will be expected to lead and deliver on all financial aspects of the business.
With a PE sale on the horizon (18-24 months), the successful candidate will have significant experience working in a PE backed environment, with a track record of delivering successful exits.
Key responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing the financial strategy for the business, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and the PE firm's investment thesis.
Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with the leadership team to identify and track key performance indicators.
Providing analysis and insight on business performance, highlighting key trends and issues, and making recommendations to drive improvement.
Managing the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all financial information to the board and investors.
Overseeing the financial operations of the business, including cash management, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.
Leading the due diligence process for potential acquisitions or divestitures, working closely with the PE firm and external advisors.
Building and leading a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Significant experience working in a PE-backed environment, with a track record of delivering successful exits
Proven experience leading finance teams, with a strong focus on people development and mentoring
Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear and concise insights and recommendations
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to work closely with the wider business to drive performance and growth
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
Experience working in the technology sector would be advantageous, but not essential
