About Nimax Theatres

Owned by Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer, the Nimax Group is a successful and proactive organisation that owns and operates six theatres in the heart of London’s West End – the Apollo, Duchess, Garrick, Lyric, Palace and Vaudeville. Our hit shows pre-COVID lockdown included Harry Potter and the Cursed Child; Everybody’s Talking about Jamie; City of Angels; Thriller Live; The Play that Goes Wrong and Magic Goes Wrong.

Our theatres currently have a combined nightly capacity of 5,000 seats and, in addition to hosting some of the UK’s most critically acclaimed and successful shows, present a busy and varied programme of comedy, concerts and children’s theatre.

About this role

To provide a first class booking service for Nimax Theatre patrons requiring group and education bookings. Maintaining relationships with current customers and pro-actively expanding the client base.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Provide a professional service, liaising and building relationships with group bookers, including individual group organisers, education establishments and tour operators
  • Answer calls from group bookers, assisting with reservations and payments
  • Work with the Marketing Team on building pro-active Group Sales
  • Represent Nimax Theatres Groups at industry fayres
  • Distribute educational resources for educational groups
  • Organise educational workshops for groups, liaising with internal and external providers as required
  • Attend in house and externally organised training sessions as required by the Company
  • Exercise total confidentiality, discretion and integrity regarding information acquired as a result of the position held
  • All other duties as required

General

  • To be responsible for identifying and undertaking training and development as required to meet business needs.
  • To always act in the best interests of Nimax Theatres Limited and in line with all company policies.
  • To undertake any other duty commensurate with the level of the post as may be required by the Line Manager.

Person specification

  • Solid, demonstrable experience in group travel/hospitality
  • IT competence; experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge/use of venue ticketing systems i.e. Nliven, ENTA,
  • Time management skills and experience of working under pressure and to deadlines

Conditions:

Contract: 40 hours, Monday to Friday 10am-6pm

Place of work: Head Office, Lumley Court

Probation: A probationary period will apply to this post. Probation and notice terms will be advised at point of formal offer.
