Job Description
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 p.a. + Bonus and Benefits
Based in the city of London, my client is looking to recruit a Group Financial Accountant to provide full accounting service to eight group (holding) companies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare/post journals in variety of accounting packages - SAP, Sage Line 200
- Perform monthly reconciliations -Bank, G/L, VAT
- Manage UK VAT compliance - preparation, filing and follow-up enquiries
- Cash Management
- Maintain company records for audit and tax compliance
- Liaise with auditors throughout audit process
- Year-end financial statement preparation - IFRS/FRS101/FRS102
- Communication with and support for each entity staff and/or director on accounting issues
- Liaise with legal team for Companies House filings, new company creation and
- Distributions
- Perform additional duties as required by departmental needs and objectives
Key skills and experience required
- Qualified or QBE
- Strong numerical skills
- At least 5 years working in an accounting or similar role
- Advanced Excel Skills with exposure to Sage and SAP
- Excellent time management skills and able to deliver to set timelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
