Our client, a leading property development company based in North London, is seeking an ambitious Financial Controller to join their team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing a small finance team and overseeing all financial operations for the company.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for all UK group entities.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the finance team
• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
• Managing the company's budget and forecasting process
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations
• Provide MI for development projects including variance analysis
• Lead audit process

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with prior experience in a similar role
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Experience in the property development industry (desirable but not essential)
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

In return for your expertise, our client is offering a competitive salary of between £65,000 - £85,000, as well as an excellent benefits package and the opportunity to work for a prestigious and growing company.
