Role Purpose 

Ensure we develop the leaders of tomorrow, providing the right environment for individualised careers and up-/reskilling of our people, understanding their aspirations and expectations as well as their employee experience. 

As such we need a passionate and experienced leader of Talent Management in the wider sense. The role will encompass responsibility for the following Talent processes on a Group level: 
 

  • Performance and Talent Management (incl. identification, development, and succession planning) 
  • Leadership Development  
  • L&D (incl. learning curriculum across all skills, maintaining a skills ontology and supporting training design) 
  • Organisational Development and Employee Listening 
  • Digitisation of the Talent experience (implementing and improving Workday) and analytics/metrics

Role responsibilities 

While we expect you to shape the overall agenda, we foresee the below core focus areas for you and your team of experts over the medium term: 
 
  • Building and developing your team of Talent experts and co-developing the solutions in a collaborative approach and partnering with the P&C Leadership team and core business leaders to develop and implement a holistic talent management strategy.  
  • Build trusted relationships and provide ongoing guidance to leaders across the business regarding talent management. This includes developing a feedback culture, coaching our people, supporting career development and succession planning to execute and achieve our aspirational goals or how to think of growth and learning. 
  • As the subject matter expert in the design, delivery, and implementation of learning you will collaborate with your P&C colleagues as well as leaders across the whole Zühlke Group to ensure we are meeting the learning needs of our employees and the organisation using consistent and state of the art adult learning approaches.  
  • You support our business leaders and P&C community in the establishment of a group-wide skills ontology and are responsible for its continuous development as well as ensuring that we have the required processes in place to anticipate and develop the needed skills in collaboration with the Practice leaders.  This includes the conception and implementation of the strategic L&D curriculum to build the required skills of today and tomorrow. 
  • You design and drive talent practices that help evolve and anchor our culture, underlying values and corporate strategy. This includes the articulation and development of our desired leadership mindset and behaviours and feedback culture.  
  • You are on point for our overarching performance and development cycle which incl. developing and implementing a Group wide performance management process as well as a new talent programme to develop talent from within, foster future leaders across all levels of the hierarchy and ensuring a meaningful succession planning approach.  
  • Further, you are the owner of our career model framework incl. the job catalogue and role descriptions. 
  • As you are responsible for the overall organisational development the role includes developing and execute an employee listening strategy and approach. 
  • Your responsibilities further include analysing and translating relevant data into talent insights to enable and foster data-driven decision making on talent. 
 
Your profile 
 
  • You have experience in designing the various topics under your remit. 
  • You are experienced in leading a global and distributed talent team. 
  • You can lead a team of expert and get them to develop solutions that are fit for purpose. 
  • You can influence others and manage several senior stakeholders. 
  • You are ambitious, innovative, and performance-driven, and your professional track record is correspondingly impressive. 
  • You think strategically and in a holistic manner, have exceptional conceptual strength and are characterised by a high level of assertiveness and persuasiveness. 
  • While you think strategically you can also roll up your sleeves and develop solutions or analysis directly 
  • You have gained your professional experience in an international corporate environment, ideally in a professional services firm, having worked and lived in several cultures. 
  • You have continuously undergone further professional training in the field of talent and organisational development as well as change management. 
  • You know the trends and best practices in the field of talent management, have excellent communication skills and are very adept at dealing with demanding stakeholders. 
  • You have a can-do attitude and are a pragmatic problem solver who gets things done.   
  • Ideally you have experience with hiring tech talent
