About the Role
Pepco Group is seeking a Group Procurement Specialist to enhance our procurement operations across all operating companies globally. This pivotal role focuses on maximising the benefits of procurement software tools, such as e-sourcing software. You will lead continuous improvement across various procurement categories, including sourcing, supplier management, cost optimisation, sustainability, innovation, and reporting.

Your Impact and Responsibilities
- Implement and refine procurement strategies and procedures across the business.
- Conduct e-sourcing events in collaboration with the procurement team, driving cost savings and optimising supplier performance.
- Provide training and support on procurement software to enhance team capabilities.
- Manage and report key procurement metrics, working closely with the Finance Business Partner.
- Develop and implement best practices for contract management in cooperation with the Legal Department.
- Regularly update and manage procurement templates such as RFI, RFQ, and RFPs to reflect business objectives.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the organisation to understand requirements and drive policy and process improvements.
- Lead projects that support company operations, process improvements, savings, and overall company growth.
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Strong IT skills, with a keen interest in learning new software tools.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas clearly to a diverse audience.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a track record of taking initiative.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, draw conclusions, and execute action plans.
- Experience in procurement, transactional finance, or business administration.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms; experience with Oracle is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing business needs.
