As Zeus scales, we are seeking an experienced growth marketing specialist to focus on data-driven marketing strategies to acquire Marketing Qualified Leads. As Growth Marketing Specialist, you will focus on prioritising and optimising our lead-generating marketing channels.

You will develop, execute and own all growth strategies and campaigns with the objective of creating marketing-qualified leads to pass to the sales team.

What success looks like

By April 2025, you will have created and executed a growth marketing strategy, focussed on generating high-quality marketing-qualified leads (MQLs). Targets will be met, and the Sales team will have a future pipeline of potential customers that is constantly replenished. All marketing activity will be data and insight led, optimised and refined accordingly, to ensure the sales funnel is regularly filled. You will have found new ways of reaching leads and enticing them to book a demo and meeting with Zeus. You will be known as the Zeus expert in growth marketing and data, and share that expertise as relevant, encouraging a data-led approach to other aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and campaign management:

  • Design a comprehensive growth strategy aimed at achieving MQLs to fill the top of the sales funnel.
  • Manage growth marketing activity across all channels, constantly optimising and refining based on data.
  • Along with the Senior Marketing Manager, ensure all marketing activity is aligned towards the common goals of growing brand awareness and generating leads.
  • Champion the Zeus brand, making sure all growth activities are on brand.
  • Manage and optimise the website and content marketing strategy, alongside the Senior Marketing Manager, to ensure they are optimised for SEO and SERP.

Champion a culture of data-led decision making and excellence:

  • Be the in-house growth-marketing expert and champion of best practices. Share knowledge, insights and expertise across the business to encourage a data-led culture.
  • Champion a data-led approach to marketing, provide evidence for activity and tell the story the data provides in a way everyone in the business can understand.
  • Encourage a data-led approach in other functions of the business.

Collaboration, relationship building and stakeholder management:

  • Work hand-in-hand with the Sales team to ensure messaging is aligned and MQLs are seamlessly delivered.
  • Although this is an autonomous role we are a small, collaborative team so securing support from the founders, leadership team and marketing colleagues is essential. You will need to ‘manage up’, as well as manage your own workload, campaigns and 3rd parties.

Candidate requirements

This role would be ideal for someone with a go-getter, self-starter mind set. The success of this role will be judged on the volume of MQLs delivered to the sales team, so the ideal candidate needs to be results driven. A collaborative approach is also a necessity as Zeus has a lean, hard-working team of experts.

  • Experience: At least 5 years in relevant B2B marketing roles, preferably in early/growth-stage startups. A proven track record in acquiring MQLs, and a specialist knowledge of the best marketing channels to achieve this.
  • Strategic: A big thinker who can take the vision for the business and turn it into a marketing strategy.
  • Data expert: Not only this candidate can delve into the data to pull out usable insights, but also can tell a story from the data to help the business make decisions quickly and confidently.
  • Proficient in marketing tools - HubSpot, Marketing Pro (creating dashboards, reports, email templates, lead gen forms, etc.) and deep knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager and Linkedin Ad Manager.
  • Campaign Execution: Experience in managing paid search campaigns using various advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Linkedin Ads. Proven experience on creating landing pages on CMS, specialise in UX, creating lead forms to improve conversion, testing ad creatives to generate more leads.
