Airthrey is a state-of-the-art purpose-built care home located in Airth, close to Falkirk and Stirling. Airthrey has a team of professional and experienced registered nurses and care workers who provide personalised nursing care for the elderly, and those with dementia and other health conditions. Our mentorship programme and ongoing learning and development will give you all the support you need to develop your skills and progress in your career. Your role as a Meallmore Head Chef will include: Plan, prepare, and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences of our residents. Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and overseeing their performance. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Order and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment. Monitor and control food costs while maintaining high quality standards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless food service and resident satisfaction. Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
