About Head of Client Marketing Role


As Head of Client Marketing you will be Ingenuity’s strategic point of contact for ensuring our partners marketing ambitions and strategies are being correctly implemented across the channels. You will be looking to drive marketing innovation and experience across the eComm structure and squads, to help frame and drive site performance through a marketing and channel lens.


The Head of Client Marketing will have regular interaction with Senior Client Marketing Managers and Channel leads to ensure we deliver on our Beauty client’s relevant KPIs. Supported by channel experts across Influencers, SEO, PPC, Content, Digital PR, Affiliates, Paid Social, Social Media and CRM, Client Marketing plays a key role to ensure the marketing output is being clearly implemented in line with the overarching strategy.


An integral part of the Ingenuity Solution is the performance of the eCommerce sites we produce and operate for our clients. To achieve maximum performance, we are looking for a Head of Client Marketing to lead on strategy and enable eComm Managers to confidently execute best in market marketing strategies across our accounts.


Key Responsibilities



  • Overall accountability for the marketing performance of accounts. Driving marketing strategy, budgets, and resource allocation to enable eComm Managers to deliver on KPIs
  • Working with eComm Leads and channel marketing to establish the campaign calendars, and ensuring budgets are aligned to support & execute these
  • Identify & set key Initiatives for marketing improvements for clients and eComm squads to use
  • Oversee the briefings of plans, targets, weekly updates, monthly updates
  • Support & validate client reporting; weekly, monthly, and quarterly ensuring marketing strategies are being adhered to and optimised correctly
  • Consider and own the full customer cycle for the client, covering awareness, consideration, acquisition, engagement, retention. You are the owner & representative of the customer
  • Manage & grow customer loyalty for clients - covering referrals, retention, advocacy & CLV optimisation strategies
  • Ensure data science reports built & work. Brief DS team in for specific work & requirement
  • Work with channel leads on relationships with media partners i.e. Google research & data insight filtering relevant information down to Marketing & eComm leads
  • Liaise with Heads of to ensure that channels are fully enabled to support and deliver on accounts
  • Work within the THG Group to continuously discover & deploy new ideas and initiatives to drive Ecommerce performance.
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and managing a team consisting of Senior Marketing Managers, eComm Managers and Executives.
  • Ensure the vertical has enough marketing resource to correctly support our clients in line with the relevant SoW, managing any overburn on account where necessary

  • Commercial, ambitious, and driven
  • Experience of managing a team and enabling and motivating individuals to fulfil their roles
  • Strong management communication skills with ability to upward and downward manage
  • Comfortable with managing budgets, trade & marketing calendars, and sales & marketing projections
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment with ability to manage and prioritise individual and team workloads
  • Entrepreneurial thinker with ability to drive innovation and present new ideas and solutions to support company growth
