Aon are currently recruiting a Head of FSG to join our team in London/ Hybrid. The Head of FSG will be primarily responsible for to lead and run change across FSG, increasing engagement and driving a culture of continuous improvement and to ensure that the business operates in such a way as to align with Aon UK Ltd. policies and to follow statutory and regulatory requirements, and that all activity takes place with due regard for the Aon Conduct agenda.

About the Role

Your impact as a Head of FSG:

  • To lead, develop and deliver the Aon client strategy and drive growth within the Financial Services sector for the large and mid-market segments and working with our UK Retail business colleagues, across the UK for all segments of the market.
  • To be a leader of Global & Specialty (G&S) as well as Financial Services Group (FSG) to deliver sustained financial performance in line with the strategy, policy, objectives and targets agreed with G&S MD and for Commercial Risk & Health (CR&H) in the UK.
  • To work with the UK Retail (National, Henderson and Affinity) leadership to develop and embed a model that best supports the growth of UK-wide FSG business on a multi-segment basis and lead and champion this growth.
  • To lead and run change across FSG, increasing engagement and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • To ensure that the business operates in such a way as to align with Aon UK Ltd. policies and to follow statutory and regulatory requirements, and that all activity takes place with due regard for the Aon Conduct agenda.

Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

About you

Your knowledge and expertise:

  • Knowledge of leading a substantial, diverse business, including budgetary management skills

  • In-depth knowledge of and experience in the insurance industry, able to identify market trends and develop this as a personal and BU-wide priority
