This is a hybrid role, working full time Monday to Friday (2 days in our Leeds office). On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.<br/><br/>The post holder will provide direction, operational management and continual development for the Collection & Recoveries teams whilst also managing performance of our external servicing partners.<br/><br/><b><b>Key Accountabilities: </b></b><br/><br/><ul><li>Responsibility for resourcing, overall management, direction and development of the Collection & Recoveries teams, including I&C Collections, SME Collections and Recoveries.</li><li>To provide tender responses in relation to Collection & Recoveries and to be involved in customer presentations as part of the tender.</li><li>To assist with the management of the printing outsourcing contract, relationship and SLAs, ensuring the timely delivery of Collection & Recoveries comms</li><li>Assisting in proposition development to drive product and service innovation.</li><li>To ensure Collection & Recoveries systems and processes are maintained and developed in line with current commercial and industry policies.</li><li>To work with Marketing to provide pro-active communication to customers and internal stakeholders in relation to any Collection & Recoveries changes or errors.</li><li>To pro-actively develop and monitor operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), day-to-day progress and significant issues, including regulatory/industry changes, communicating appropriately to the Retail Operations Director and other managers.</li><li>Implement industry and regulatory changes relating to Collection & Recoveries.</li><li>Ensure effective communication and robust interfaces between the Collection & Recoveries teams and other teams / departments.</li><li>Manage the Collection & Recoveries process </li></ul><br/><br/><b>Knowledge and skills</b><br/><ul><li>Working knowledge of gas and electricity industry processes across SME, and I&C. </li><li>Understanding of Collection & Recoveries processes and interdependencies between Billing / Collection & Recoveries and interfacing departments.</li><li>Strong understanding of customer needs and behaviour, with the ability to refine processes to maximise customer engagement and experience.</li><li>Awareness of regulatory/industry requirements.</li><li>Strong communicator and negotiator with positive influencing and interpersonal skills </li><li>Able to work flexibly and effectively in a fast paced, highly pressurised environment and encourage others to follow lead</li><li>A problem solver with the ability to anticipate risks and assess rewards, making informed judgements of the course of action.</li><li>Advanced user Microsoft Office, confident at analysing data and interpreting key trends.</li><li>Budget management.</li><li>Highly numerate and awareness of cost recovery.</li></ul><ul><li>Proven ability to organise and produce accurate work to tight deadlines.</li><li>Effective risk management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage competing priorities with challenging deadlines</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Experience</b><br/><ul><li>Previous senior management experience in the Energy industry.</li><li>Previous experience in a similar role.</li><li>Experience of dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Experience of management of external service providers</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Flexible Working</b><br/><br/>We understand the importance of work-life balance and recognise that everyone is striving to find the perfect one between work and home life.
