The role: Head of Customer Marketing



We are looking for a Head of Customer Marketing to join our team based in Leeds.



This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission aligned.

The PokerStars Marketing team is the driving force behind the PokerStars brand, operating a highly diversified business model across more than 80 markets and 3 different product verticals. The team is on a mission, to fulfill PokerStars’ true potential as the worlds leading gaming brand. This mission is achieved by both product and geographical diversification, as the brand leverages its global appeal and builds on its rich Poker heritage to increase penetration in Casino and Sports markets. Marketing will be the core driver, and our success depends on our ability to put the player at the centre of all our decision making and activity, which is where this role comes in.



You will pay a key role in building and implementing a new Customer-First Contact strategy, focused on maximizing the benefit of new capabilities available through the onboarding of the Adobe Experience platform. This exciting new role is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day CRM operations, supporting the execution and delivery of a customer-centric strategy using MarTech. We are looking for a highly technical and action-oriented individual who is passionate about marketing technology while also highly effective taking marketing strategy and executing via pragmatic solutions in a measurable way.



Why we need you:



Key Responsibilities



Manage a team of CRM Operations Mangers, ensuring we deliver epic acts of customer marketing hitting KPIs
Work with the Head of Transformation to deliver step-change in CRM production chains, aligned with priority markets and Key Business KPIs
Work with the Customer Marketing and Operations Director and key commercial stakeholders to create and then execute a data-led Customer Contact Strategy; including but not limited to X-Vertical Customer Lifecycle, Customer-First communication plans, operating model and customer comms measurement framework model
Champion the application of data and technology in delivering customer-centric and solution-selling marketing execution, in close partnership with various teams
Project management of all new marketing technology implementations, including managing timelines, coordination with CRM teams, and ongoing reporting of critical deliverables
Support the development of a transition plan allowing us to move from current state to target state
Track product adoption, system performance, unnecessary redundancies, and value delivered of marketing technology solutions
Work in close collaboration with MarTech ensuring the product roadmap is aligned with wider business priorities and the final products received deliver upon the Customer Marketing Vision
Be a key member of the Customer Marketing and Operations team, defining our future ways of working across PokerStars Commercial teams



Who are we looking for:



3+ years in Marketing Operations with a minimum 1 year working in hands-on MarTech role
Proven Experience across, CRM Tech, Marketing Automation, BI and Data & Analytics platforms and/or managing the MarTech stack – ideally Adobe Experience
Ability to consolidate multiple data-sets, including customer segmentation, then drawing insight from these which lead to business results and improved customer NPS
Proven track record of eliminating marketing and technology silos and playing a key role in the deployment of new technologies to increase customer engagement in all CRM channels
Proven team leader who can influence and manage diverse teams to a new mission
Strong communication skills, infectious enthusiasm and experience of bringing ideas & plans to life
A great collaborator, willing to work across organisational lines for the benefit of our players. Really passionate about ideas and results, driven and agenda-setting
