Express recruitment is extremely excited to be working alongside a well-known local authority who are based in Lincoln City Centre. Due to increasing client base, they are looking for a Head of Cyber Security to lead their team, initially on a temporary basis however a permanent contract may be available for the right candidate.

The company is offering a competitive day rate of up to £600 per day, and are also offering an attractive hybrid working pattern.
- Ensure suppliers have up to date knowledge and are adhering to security regulations
- Act as first point of contact for security breaches and resolutions
- Identify, analyse, evaluate and address the organisation’s cyber security threats
- Track the security objectives and corrective actions to assess their effectiveness
- Attend meetings with internal department leaders and external stakeholders
- Support both internal and external audits conducted across the business
Skills & Experience
- Relevant degree in Cyber Security/Information Security or similar discipline
- Knowledge of ISO27001 security standards
- Confident understanding of security standards
- Previous management experience in Cyber Security industry essential
- Experience with cyber security concepts such as incident management and reporting
