Job Description

One of the UK’s leading financial services companies is looking for a Head of Digital Analytics to join their growing team based in Wimbledon. They currently have a customer base of over 16 million in the UK. Having doubled their growth in the last 5 years, they are in a significant period of transformation and as Head of Digital Analytics, you will play a key part in their continued success.

As Head of Digital Analytics, you will report into the Chief Digital Officer and will lead the decision making around digital initiatives through analysis and business insights. As Head of Digital Analytics you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define key metrics for digital activities and report on digital business performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of digital analysts setting focus, strategy, and priorities. 5 direct reports.
  • Manage & maintain the web analytics implementation across our digital propositions. Currently based on Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to key decision makers at the Director and Executive Committee level.
  • Lead insight into areas for new website development and omni-channel roadmap with clear analytics to grow conversion and sales.
  • Act as the expert for digital analytics, developing and sharing best practices and strategy.
  • 5 – 10 year’s commercial experience with a strong understanding of web analytics methodologies.
  • Technical experience in using digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360, GTM, Firebase, Adobe Analytics and similar tools.
  • Exceptional knowledge of site optimisation.
  • Experience using MVT / AB testing and recommendations tools.

To be successful as Head of Digital Analytics, you must be able to draw insights that will help the business make decisions to increase online sales conversions and reduce drop-offs in the customer journey. You will be able to pull insights from google analytics and turn this into meaningful decision-making information for management.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, with the ability to deliver insights rather than just data. You will have an analytical mindset and be comfortable in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
