Responsibilities:
If you'd like to work as a Head of Design Technology, you'd be responsible for:
- Planning exciting Design Technology lessons for KS3, KS4 & KS5 pupils
- Delivering inspiring lessons in Design Technology to KS3, KS4 & KS5 pupils
- Overseeing the smooth running of the department
- Providing curriculum design support as and where needed
- Liaising with fellow members of staff in regards to student achievement, well-being and curriculum design
- Attending staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
If you'd like to work as a head of Design Technology for KS3, KS4 & KS5, you'd need to have:
- QTS with relevant teaching experience
- Evidence of leadership experience
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Experience of curriculum design
- Resilience
- Reliability
