Our client is currently looking for a Head of Development to join their busy team in Tongwynlais, Cardiff with fully flexible agile working options!

Salary: £64,612 to £68,012 per annum

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Head of Development Duties:

  • You will lead on the market sale programme and manage the Development Team to maintain a pipeline of development opportunities to support sustainable growth.
  • You will be working closely with our Community Regeneration, Customer Services, Housing and Assets & Sustainability Teams, as well as driving quality, value for money and continuous improvement service delivery.

Head of Development Requirements:

  • You will be highly organised, proactive, and enthusiastic individual, who can lead and shape a motivated team and work effectively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.
  • You will need a relevant degree level qualification along with a relevant professional qualification (such as CIOB, RICS, RTPI) or be actively working towards gaining professional status.
  • You should have a proven track record of relevant senior project management, and, ideally, line management experience,
  • A highly skilled communicator with strong interpersonal skills,
  • You will thrive on working collaboratively and building strong working relationships with other teams.
  • You will be very IT literate and digitally focused with a passion for developing asset management systems to drive efficiencies and improve processes.
  • You will have strong analytical skills to understand and interpret property data intelligence and make the right business decisions.
