About us

Newydd Housing Association is an award-winning organisation that currently owns and manages 3,000 rented properties in mid and south Wales, working in several local authority areas. Newydd Maintenance Ltd is a subsidiary company which provides maintenance services to Newydd Housing Association and is built on an in-house contractor model, designed to drive quality customer services, whilst achieving substantial planned growth and expansion.

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Development to lead our high performing Development Team and to deliver our social housing new build and regeneration programme across all business and financial models.

You will lead on the market sale programme and manage the Development Team to maintain a pipeline of development opportunities to support sustainable growth. You will be working closely with our Community Regeneration, Customer Services, Housing and Assets & Sustainability Teams, as well as driving quality, value for money and continuous improvement service delivery.

About you

You will be very IT literate and digitally focused with a passion for developing asset management systems to drive efficiencies and improve processes. You will have strong analytical skills to understand and interpret property data intelligence and make the right business decisions.
