BIGDUG, a strong brand of TAKKT Group are seeking aHead of Digital Marketingto shape the future of work!This pivotal role involves steering our digital acquisition strategy across multiple brand landscapes—BiGDUG, Office Furniture Online, Davpack, and Kaiser+Kraft. The role involves not only refinement of digital strategies but empowering diverse channels to grow, adapt, and meet future milestones while optimising acquisition efficiency. As the conductor of this strategy through your team, your influence will be instrumental in expanding our customer base through an array of dynamic digital programs and initiatives.
Tasks:
1. Strategy Development: This involves crafting and executing a dynamic digital marketing strategy. This requires close collaboration with key stakeholders across the digital marketing team and adjacent functions - ecommerce, sales leadership, marketing, and the UK senior leadership team to align goals, ensuring a unified and impactful approach.
2. Acquisition Optimisation: Your expertise will be crucial in identifying, implementing, and refining the most effective techniques, channels, and optimisations. Your guidance will not just meet but exceed channel targets across 4 main areas; Email & CRM, SEO, and Affiliate Marketing, to leverage untapped potential. Though it should be noted that SEO is the key channel of development in 2024 and we will be seeking ahigh level of expertise with any successful candidate will provide a strong historic portfolio of success in this key channel
3. Marketing Automation: You’ll lead the charge in building and owning the marketing automation stack. This entails orchestrating email workflows, crafting abandoned cart strategies, integrating website engagement tools, all while maintaining stringent GDPR compliance, with every digital interaction counting towards our collective success.
4. Team Leadership: Your role extends beyond strategy; it's about cultivating a team of excellence. Lead, inspire, and coach a team of highly skilled senior digital marketing professionals across the UK. Your collaborations with agencies and other departments will amplify the impact of every initiative.
5. Analytical Insights: Working closely with our Data Analyst, your insight will guide our digital marketing strategies to fuel data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
Profile:
1. Proven Track Record: Your history should boast success in digital marketing (with core success across SEO) within a dynamic, high-growth ecommerce environment. Your experience of at least 5+ years in digital marketing management signifies your expertise in navigating complex digital landscapes.
2. Leadership Skills: Your exceptional ability to lead a high-performing team whilst maintaining focus on results will lead to success. Your hands-on leadership style will set the tone for excellence.
3. Communication: Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are imperative. Your ability to challenge ideas confidently and constructively across all levels, fostering positive relationships throughout the organisation will be pivotal in driving cohesive strategies.
