Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: The role is based at Kilburn with some home working
Salary: £42k circa
Hours: Full Time for 35 hours. The role includes Sunday working but is 5 days a week
Contract: Permanent

About the organisation

Our client is one of the largest and fastest growing non-denominational Pentecostal Christian churches in Europe. Starting from humble beginnings, with only a handful of faithful members, the church has grown rapidly since its inception in December 1992.

The church is known for hosting interdenominational events which have had an overwhelming success in promoting greater unity within the wider Christian church. They have recently celebrated their 30th anniversary and it is an exciting time to be working for the organisation as they look to expand with new dynamic projects.

About the Role

The Head of Digital, Media and Creatives will manage the digital, media and creative teams, overseeing the setting of individual/departmental goals, training staff, and implementing staff appraisals and developmental strategies. You will produce and oversee the execution of the Digital Media strategy to ensure it falls in-line with the charity's business objectives; reporting to the CEO and Trustees to deliver insights, suggestions, and updates on work progressions.

As Head of Digital for the organisation you will provide vision and leadership for the strategic development of the charity's digital marketing landscape, ensuring the delivery of an excellent, stimulating, engaging and innovative digital experience to all our prospect and stakeholder audiences.

As the digital expert, you will lead the enhancement of the charity's digital channels through continuous development and enhancement of their digital presence including user experience, content and mobile. Throughout, you will drive the brand through all communications and channels - maximising reputation, recruitment and reach amongst our key audiences.

You will oversee the development of core content and social strategies through the content team to enrich engagement, exercise synergies across marketing outputs and unlock potential content and social-led themes and campaigns. As Digital lead you will regularly review performance across channels and platforms and use their analysis to improve their digital approach and content and be sensitive to consumer feedback and trends in the market to translate them into insights, bringing compelling brand stories to life, managing the image of the brand, increasing the value of the brand, and building a unified culture around the brand.

About you

You will be educated to degree level ideally in Marketing or have equivalent proven working experience with evidence of continued professional development. Strong technical knowledge on digital and media standards, methods, tools and applications are fundamental to the role in addition to strong knowledge and understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practice. You will have the ability to demonstrate strong team leadership and proven management skills with experience of working collaboratively to create cohesive digital, media and communications strategy.

As the Head of Digital you will have extensive experience in managing websites, social media and digital and media platforms and managing budgets, maximising effectiveness in achieving profits, income and targets. You will have the ability to proficiently use to intermediate/advanced level a range of software packages including Microsoft Office and media packages.
