Derby Grammar School is Derbyshire’s leading independent day school for boys aged 4 to 18 and girls aged 16 to 18.
Established in 1995, our Primary School, Senior School and Sixth Form are housed in a stunning setting within our own grounds in Littleover, Derby.

Our catchment area is local, extending up to 20 miles from Littleover. We have grown steadily since we began back in 1995 and now have a roll of 236, with an intention to increase to 300.

A member of the Senior Leadership Team and reporting to the Head, the Head of External Relations and Marketing will provide dynamic leadership of the school’s public-facing and marketing activities,and will be an integralpart in evolving the brand. The successful applicant will benefit from recentand detailed analyses of the school’s processes,and will have the opportunity to develop this key school function. This is an outstanding opportunity for a strategically-minded, creative communications and marketing professional to lead change.
The post will most likely attract an experienced professional with experience of independent education sector or someone who can demonstratean instinctive feel for current and prospective members ofDerby Grammar School’scommunity.
