An exciting opportunity currently exists within the marketing function of a leading International Power Generation company, based in their corporate head office in the South East.
Your key responsibilities will include;
- Creating bespoke market intelligence
- Leading and building capability within Field Marketing to provide effective regional marketing
- Defining regional product positioning and recommend market strategies
- Dissemination of regional Market and Business Intelligence into the Marketing Community and across the company
Provide Field Marketing coverage for the UK and non traditional markets (e.g. Russia, South Africa).
This may involve:
- Gathering and interpreting regional market information from Sales and Customer Managers and other internal and external sources
- Production of Country/Region Market Outlooks capturing customer trends and requirements as well as legislative drivers, monitoring of competitor’s regional business and strategies, guarantee awareness of local news.
- Informed recommendations on pricing, positioning and regional market strategies.
- Dissemination of regional Market and Business Intelligence into the Marketing Community and across the company
- Organisation of Country Days
- Liaison of and coordination with corporate communications on regional communication plans, collateral, local content requirements, organising Roadshows.
There will initially be 5 reports. The teams will be split by region into SE, North America and Latin America.
