Head of Finance Business Partnering Full Time London Finance Business Services

The Team
Over the last 24 months, there has been a major strengthening in the commercial finance capability within Norton Rose Fulbright. As part of this journey, the next phase seeks to build on these strong foundations and further embed the Finance Business Partner team as strategic business advisors which are in high demand across the business.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with key business support senior managers to ensure strategic alignment of priorities and delivery of first class support to the Partnership. The focus of the Finance Business Partner team is to act as trusted advisors to senior stakeholders and business owners, ensuring sound financial decisions are being made which assist the firm in achieving its strategic objectives. The successful candidate is expected to work closely with the Commercial Finance Director to shape the next phase of the team's evolution, ensuring the capability remains relevant, effective and in high demand.
Skills and Experience Required
- Had significant experience working in UK based international law firms in senior commercial finance roles, although other relevant professional services experience will be considered.
- With your deep professional services knowledge, you will be able to bring thought leadership to help further advance commercial finance capabilities at Norton Rose Fulbright.
- You will have run commercial finance teams and, as a strong leader, be comfortable in demonstrating how you have developed and motivated your team, fostering a culture of high performance, teamwork and inclusion.
- Your ability to form strong working relationships, even with remote colleagues, has helped you effectively prioritise deliverables, set timetables and keep to them.
- Excellent soft skills and gravitas are a given.
- Your extensive business partnering experience of senior stakeholders (internal and client facing) means you know how to bring the numbers to life, using thoughtful and innovative approaches to support decision makers and other professionals on client financial issues, all whilst employing a high degree of tact, diplomacy and professionalism.
- Being both degree qualified and holding a chartered accountancy qualification evidences your hardworking nature and ambition to grow professionally
