The Head of Finance will work closely with the COO to take the lead in financial performance management for the charity and ensure a model of long-term financial sustainability is implemented.
The Head of Finance will proactively and positively provide strategic oversight for financial systems and processes, ensuring both excellent customer service and compliance with required professional standards. They will deliver timely management information, increase financial awareness across the charity, and ensure a comprehensive control environment. As a senior member of the management team, the Head of Finance will play a key role in delivering the charities mission and long-term strategic goals. This is a broad hands-on role managing one member of staff.
We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience in the charitable sector. You’ll need to be happy in a broad hands-on role and be a strong Excel user.
This role requires someone in the office 4 days per week, with one day working from home. Salary is up to £54,500 and benefits include final salary pension and 26 days holiday.
