The Opportunity
Finatal is retained by a c.£300m revenue manufacturing business which is presently mid-cycle with a credible private equity fund. The business is highly recognisable and has a strong precedent of growth to date, with several acquisitions in the pipeline for Q3&4 of 2024. The business has an international presence and has a strong brand reputation which makes this role particularly popular. The business has set a positive tone culturally, boasting an excellent pattern of internal promotions and retention.

The business requires a Head of FP&A to report to the Group CFO. The successful hire will be particularly confident business partnering cross functionally, maximising systems, and particularly adept modelling and providing insightful analysis to senior stakeholders.

The Responsibilities
Responsible for the analysis, understanding and communication of trading and financial performance across 3 Channels with presentation of key insights to the Board, SLT and Group Finance.
• Partnering with the CEO, CFO and wider Senior Leadership Team for the management of performance and delivery of strategic plans.
• Lead financial planning, encompasses all aspects of the forecasting cycles (Budgets, Outlooks, Long Term Plan) ensuring key assumptions are understood, bought into by the business and strategic aims are delivered within required timelines.
• Influencing key stakeholders to drive proactive and corrective action using commercial acumen, data, insights and trends for the delivery of the Commercial P&L.
• Lead the implementation of digital technologies that will automate large parts of daily and weekly reporting as well as a data led approach to demand planning and production scheduling
