Launched in late 2020, our Global HR Services function helps organisations to grow their businesses by supporting and enabling them as they expand to meet their ambitions. Through our own activpayroll experts in our global locations, and our trusted global network of in-country partners, we support our customers and their people with the full suite of HR related services, from employment law and contracts, to helping to grow in a new country, to HR projects and change programmes.

We have had some fantastic early success in delivering these services to our clients, and we are committed to investing in this area with the creation of this brand-new role, Head of Global HR Solutions. This is a unique chance for a driven and commercial HR professional to build an in-house consultancy from the ground up, with all the backing and infrastructure of a global brand. 

And now for the technical bit!

This is not your typical HR consulting role. We deliver support to clients from transactional functions to large scale change projects, across over 60 countries globally. From scoping out potential projects with our existing clients, to sourcing and engaging with new in-country partners to build our global reach, you’ll be building on our existing offering and establishing activpayroll as a trusted partner in global HR services.

  • You’ll work with our extensive customer base, as well as our business development and sales teams to identify opportunities to deliver global HR services, understanding the client need and crafting the right solutions to support their aims
  • With an eye on the commercials, you’ll work to ensure that we are able to deliver a fantastic service with the right commercial model in place, working with our partners to agree competitive pricing 
  • You’ll be responsible for coordinating and managing the implementation and delivery of our HR solution with each customer, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for further support 
  • At activpayroll we aim to become an extension of our client’s business across multiple areas, so you’ll be collaborating closely with our Global Mobility and Global Payroll teams to ensure a seamless cross discipline service offering to the customer
  • We have an extensive global reach via our in-country partner network, and you’ll have a remit to ensure that we continue to partner with the best suppliers, building on our existing relationships and identifying new suppliers to further increase our portfolio
  • Working closely with the activpayroll Executive Committee and Board, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the Global HR services growth strategy

This is the ideal opportunity for a commercially savvy HR professional with a drive to develop a consultancy business to take the lead on a proven business model and develop it globally. You’ll ideally have some international HR exposure yourself, understanding the challenges our clients might face in entering into new geographies or setting up new entities, and have the ability to build strong strategic relationships with our clients and partner network. 

  • A consultative and thoughtful HR professional with international / non-UK experience in HR, payroll or global mobility, and a keen understanding of the HR lifecycle and the various services that fall within
  • Highly tuned client relationship skills, with the ability to form deep relationships with engaged customers, anticipating their requirements and developing the business model to deliver these
  • A commercially focussed mindset with the ability to investigate and evaluate in-country partners to grow our global reach, and the influencing skills to ensure that these partnerships are built on the right commercial strategy
