Group Head of HR (French-speaking)
International Art and Design

About the Client:
We are working with an international art gallery, with locations in the UK, France and the US. This is a standalone Head of HR role with a broad remit and opportunity to make your mark! With circa 100 employees worldwide, this is an exciting place to work for someone with previous international HR experience.

**Required languages: French and English**

About the Role:
This is a fantastic Head of HR opportunity which will involve management of the global HR function, which includes employees within the galleries, offices and the production site in France.

Reporting directly into the COO, responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Strategy and management of HR agenda, budget and learning & development
  • Management of HR projects, including EVP and supporting with the application to become a B-Corp
  • HR Operations - drive delivery of employee lifecycle, managing recruitment and onboarding and rewards and benefits system
  • Management of HR Assistant in France
  • Management employee relations issues.

Candidate Specification:

  • Experience in HR Management, ideally in a standalone role, is essential for this position
  • Previous experience with international employment law - especially France - is also an essential requirement
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Candidates will ideally be CIPD qualified or hold a Masters degree in HR, however candidates without qualifications who hold very relevant experience will be considered
  • Discrete and professional
  • Experience of working closely with management or Founders, ideally within creative organisations.

Additional Information:

  • Salary up to £75K depending on experience and the role comes with good benefits including 24 days of annual leave, medical insurance and pension salary sacrifice scheme
  • Hours are 9:30am - 6pm with flexibility required due to working with French and US offices.
  • The business offer hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
  • Start date - as soon as possible, however candidates with a notice period will be considered.
