Our client, an exciting and innovative D2C consumer start-up poised for rapid growth and based in the heart of London is seeking a generalist Head of HR to shape, define and steer the HR strategic vision, foster a positive work culture and build a high performing team.

As the Head of HR, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing HR initiatives with the business goals and values. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, from organisational structure, employee life cycle management, employment law, creating and solidifying employee policy frameworks through to total rewards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the company’s mission, values and growth plans.
  • Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment onboarding, training and development, performance, cultural engagement and off boarding
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent
  • Support and live a positive culture of exceptional performance, where team members thrive, constantly developing and enjoy coming to work
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development and knowledge sharing
  • Drive employee performance and development through effective coaching, training, career planning and talent management initiatives
  • Own the talent acquisition process from end to end, designing a scalable recruitment process which reflects quality, diversity and an exceptional candidate experience
  • Support teams with high level recruitment strategy and headcount planning
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and maintain up to date knowledge of HR best practices
  • Collaborate with leadership to understand and address organizational challenges, providing strategic HR insights and recommendations.

You:

  • A senior HR generalist with extensive experience working within fast-paced, high growth, dynamic consumer start-up/ scale-up environments
  • End to end talent acquisition experience
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
  • Data driven, with a strong understanding of how to apply data to measure success and solve problems
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions- orientated mindset.
