Job Description

About Us:

We are a pioneering luxury knitwear brand with a strong commitment to sustainable practices, sourcing the finest Merino fibres in the world based on fashion’s first naturally carbon negative supply chain.

Our unique blend of timeless design, ethical sourcing and innovative supply chain technology sets us apart as a thought leading brand in the fashion industry. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Executive to join our team and grow the business.

Job Description:

As our Marketing Manager, you will not only manage but actively participate in all marketing channels, vigorously driving performance and hands-on in devising and executing strategies to reach and engage our target audience. This includes customer acquisition, customer retention, conversion rate optimisation, and brand storytelling across all mediums that Sheep Inc. utilises.

In addition to coordinating with a team of specialist agencies, freelancers and in-house staff (when appropriate), you will be personally involved in setting and hitting CAC/ROAS targets. You won't just be identifying innovative methods of reaching customers - you'll be the one turning those ideas into reality, implementing them on the ground level. Your role is not only strategic but also tactical, blending high-level thinking with sleeves-rolled-up action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and manage: Work closely with specialist agencies, freelancers, and in-house staff. Be hands-on in driving growth, using the allocated budget to optimise all facets of performance marketing.
  • Analyse and Plan: Work alongside the CFO to dive deep into customer data, establish the LTV, and set cost-effective acquisition targets. This involves detailed data analysis and strategic planning.
  • Execute Recruitment Strategies: Implement digital and analogue recruitment strategies. Be proactive in exploring and executing innovative customer acquisition strategies within the set budget.
  • Develop and Manage CRM: Personally craft a customer-centric CRM program. Implement techniques to increase customer spend and retention, and re-engage inactive customers.
  • SEO Optimization: Actively participate in content creation and optimization. Ensure the content is SEO-friendly and contributes to boosting Sheep Inc's organic search visibility.
  • Social Media Engagement: Actively manage social media platforms, create engaging posts, initiate discussions, and respond to comments. Be the driving force behind social media activations.
  • Network and Engage: Reach out to potential influencers and brand ambassadors, build relationships, and actively engage with them. Monitor and ensure that the content created aligns with the company's communication calendar.
  • Website Optimization: Get involved in UX design, run A/B tests, and implement changes to improve conversion rates. Regularly review and update website content to ensure it's relevant and personalised.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Personally handle analytics and reporting, evaluate campaign performances, and make necessary adjustments. Be hands-on in sales forecasting and adjust strategies based on customer metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury fashion industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing channels and strategies, as well as performance metrics.
  • Familiarity, passion and interest in sustainable practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking to devise new innovative marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in marketing software and tools, including analytics and CRM systems.
  • A passion for luxury fashion and a commitment to sustainability.

Please be aware that we are a dynamic, nimble team that thrives on flat hierarchies. We foster an environment where everyone is encouraged to take the initiative, transforming strategic visions into tangible actions.

Remuneration:

Salary commensurate with experience.
