Hugh Baird College is a college and University Centre situated in Merseyside, England. It is one of the largest education and training providers in the area, delivering over 300 courses to more than 5,000 students. The College offers courses from entry Level to Level 3, A-levels, apprenticeships and university-level courses, foundation degrees and degrees. Head of Marketing
In this role you will lead the Marketing & Admissions Team to deliver first-class marketing services to drive learner attraction and recruitment, enhance reputation and profile, and proactively contribute to the strategic performance of the College.
As an experienced marketing professional, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong team ethos and will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, applying creative, customer focused solutions. You will have substantial marketing experience with a thorough understanding of the key areas of content, digital, brand, advertising, media relations and customer relationship management. You will also be able to demonstrate a successful track record of developing implementing marketing strategies and plans. A good understanding of the current challenges facing the post 16 education is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, managing and overseeing talent acquisition for the College, including recruitment processes, employer branding and budget management. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on finding, recruiting, hiring and retaining candidates. You will develop and implement employer branding across all aspects of recruitment. Identify and implement a variety of methods to drive and enable successful and cost-effective recruitment, as well as providing analysis and reporting to inform resourcing plans and strategies.
