Job Description

Our Client

Our client is an EdTech business, founded in 2016, they have built an incredible reputation for working with large Enterprises and the Education sector, and helping them to attract the right students by giving them the chance to explore the world of Work and University before committing to it. As a Tech scale-up they are in a position of significant growth, have a clear exit strategy and are now looking for a Head of Marketing to a lead of team of 6, based from their London offices, reporting to the COO and indirectly to the founders.

What You’ll Get

As a Head of Marketing you can expect a salary which ranges from £65 - 85k plus 10% bonus and equity options. Other benefits will include a good pension, discounted gym membership, flexi working model and a personal development budget for courses. You will be based out of their London offices 3 days a week, so need to be within a 1 hour commute of Central London.

What You’ll Do

As the Head of Marketing you will inherit an existing team of 6 who are largely more B2C than B2B focused. The business has made great strides in developing their B2B strategy, but now need a leader who has a background in both B2C and B2B marketing who can bring the department together as they accelerate the revenue growth over the next 3 years. The glaring gap within the current marketing set up and strategy is that the Branding needs real focus, and so ideally this hire will have experience in building brands. You will also own the marketing budget, and as part of this utilise agency support where needed.

What You’ll Need

The Head of Marketing ideally needs to come from an EdTech/Learning or Careers background, but this isn’t essential. You will be a strong leader, brand builder and have a real passion for joining a very mission focused scale-up tech business. You will also be comfortable being hands on and equipped with a marketing skillset which adds value to the existing team.
