We are looking for an experienced Head of Marketing and Communications for a key role in our growing business.

Therole
You will lead and develop our marketing and communications activities.
This includes overseeing our internal marketing activities, which are focused on enhancing Urban Foresight’s brand, market presence, and generating new commercial opportunities.
You will also support consultants in the delivery of high-profile projects with external clients that involve significant marketing and communications activities.
We’re particularly interested to meet people with the experience and entrepreneurial drive to win new marketing and design-led consultancy contracts.
You will be responsible for:
- the quality and financial performance of all marketing, communications, and graphic design activities
- leading a talented team of marketing and graphic design professionals
- designing, executing and evaluating marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, and thought leadership
- overseeing the creation of compelling marketing collateral that effectively communicates Urban Foresight’s value proposition
- working closely with Directors to develop strategies and initiatives to enhance our brand and market presence.
- collaborating with our consultancy teams to generate leads and new commercial opportunities
- business development, proposal writing, and pitching to secure new marketing and design-led consultancy contracts
Skills andexperience
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar professional services environment, with a proven ability to take a both a strategic overview and a hands-on approach.
Your experience would ideally include:
- minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity
- proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies, preferably within the consulting or professional services industry.
- a track record of successful business development and generating sustainable revenue streams
- strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate
- degree in a relevant subject
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including copywriting and editing
- highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- experience of managing resources, budgets, and contracts
- interest in and understanding of the sectors in which we work.
