Our client, a reputable not-for-profit organisation based in Hertfordshire, is looking for an experienced Marketing professional with a passion for educational development to join their in-house Marketing and Commercial team. The Marketing team provides a wide range of support, from delivery content production to brand awareness and lead generation, both locally and nationally.

The Role – Head of Marketing
This role is a mixture of strategy and hands on. You will have 4/5 direct reports, with an overall marketing team of 15.
You will be driven to add value in all you do and will be required to:
- Develop an annual marketing plan with line managers, managing budgets and ensure on time delivery of projects
- Lead and manage the marketing teams; design, digital, content, social, media and PR
- Works closely with Executives and leadership stakeholders to ensure activity is fully agreed upon and aligned with business priorities.
- Undertake regular analysis and reporting, ensuring a good ROI

About You
- Extensive experience in a senior marketing role – managing multi-discipline teams
- Agency experience desirable but not essential
- Able to demonstrate the impact of marketing activities that you have managed
- Extensive digital marketing experience including, google analytics, PPC, SEO and Social
- Data-driven and results-focused – using insights and trends to adapt the activity
- Confident with strong negotiation skills
- Previous experience and evidence of managing and developing a multi-disciplined team of 15+ people
Due to the location of their Hitchin-based head office this role is commutable from most parts of Hertfordshire including, Hitchin, Hertford, Luton, Hatfield, Royston and Bishop’s Stortford.
