Start Date: 1 September 2023

We are looking to appoint a talented and creative teacher with the ability to lead Media Studies, starting in September 2023.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a successful and well-established department, delivering popular GCSE and A-Level courses.The department is well equipped and supported by an experienced Media Technician and plays a key role in the school community in celebrating the Creative Arts at various events in the school calendar.

The ideal candidate will be an inspiring teacher who is ready to step up and provide professional leadership and management in Media Studies to secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and continued improvement of standards of learning and achievement for all students. You will need to have a proven track record in academic success and curriculum innovation. The post is suitable for someone with a passion for the Media Arts, experience of designing curriculum projects and engaging resources, with the ability to inspire students and lead our team of dedicated teachers.

The successful candidate will be offered a full programme of support and development in order to continue to progress their career, supported by an Assistant Headteacher.

The main site for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells. However, you may be required to work at other sites connected to TWGSB.
